Chapter 1- Thursday Night

Due to my very cool phone I can blog even though I'm away!!! How cool is that??

Anyway, the drive to Medicine Hat was pretty exciting in itself. It was pouring buckets which then turned to hail and snow. Sounds fun right? To add to the fun Jolene's van was fogged up so badly we couldn't see out the windows. Forcing us to wait until the visibility was better. About half way here the rain stopped and it was a nice drive- I was very entertained- Jolene is the funniest person ever...

Once we got here we checked in and unloaded the room stuff. Then we went to the show site and got set up...jolene is ultra organised and we got everything set up quick!! But, due to my bad directions we kinda went the wrong way and took a detour out of Medicine Hat on the way back to the hotel...haha Ooops!

Now it is late and we are hanging out in our very nice room- it is huge and the kind of room that you aren't afraid to walk barefoot in!

I am looking forward to tomorrow. I am showing a friends flatcoat in the morning and have rally with both dogs in the afternoon....wish us luck!!!

Amanda, did you mention to Wendy about the beds too? How you can't actually lay in the sheets, you have to lay on the top and don't sit on the seat of the toilets either. LOL

I love that you make the Pals sounds like a dump, it is actually CLEANER than some Days Inn and HI Express's I have stayed in, and I stay in alot of hotels (OK that sounded bad)

Remember we payed $120 for the Quality Inn in Halifax and the bathroom was dirty (hairs eewww) and there were stains all over the rug. eeeewwww

Don't be dissing the Pals, as I recall you normally rave about it ....

Good Luck at the Show!!

Hey! I didn't say anything about the Pals at all! I love it there- super cheap, and clean! This room was just more extravagant is all! :o)

it was totally ME, not Amanda that wanted to be in the Holiday Inn...she tried to talk me into it but I wouldn't go for it....
I like to super spoil myself when I go away....Amanda was a great sport to put up with me.....next time maybe I'll try the Pals...well, maybe not!
PS. our room was clean but the maid didn't know how to make beds, hee hee!!
