I am so proud of our group. I was almost brought to tears a few times this weekend based only on their performances. They are all amazing.
Sarah. Oh My God. She rocks. Gyp is an a-m-a-z-i-n-g dog. She beat the pants off of everyone in her division. Really. Sarah handled that dog to perfection EVERY SINGLE RUN. Clean. Fast. Brilliant. Kaleb. Oh, Kaleb. His gamble is most memorable. He stayed focused, up, and brought his momma to tears when his name was called. I am so proud to call her my friend. She is Amazing.
Jolayne. Oh My. Tag surprised everyone this weekend. His jumpers run on Saturday almost made me cry. I got goosebumps. Jo has worked SO hard with this dog. He is a force to reckon with. Amazing.
Lynn. If not for those nerves! Lucy has been called the "Golden Child" since puppy class. She is always brilliant, and rarely makes a mistake. This weekend was no exception and she did fabulous. From a dog who didn't like to jump, to a dog with springs for legs. Amazing.
Jan. The mystery of the weaves, the motivation issues, and today- a placement at a regional event. Amazing.
Deb. We are lucky to get one of those dogs once in our lives. Stoker is this dog. He tries SO hard, and had an amazing weekend. In the ultra competitive 10" vet he stole the show and WON the Steeplechase finals. Amazing.
Kim. Maggie's future was uncertain only a few short months ago. Cancer. Surgery, and a few weeks of rehab and she ran at a regional event. She had a great time, and worked even in the heat. She is a dog who is all heart. Amazing.
Dave. It's hard to believe that a dog so afraid of people can do so well at a huge event. Pearl had a great weekend, and is loving the 10" jumps. She had some great runs, and when she turns on the after burners- Well, it's amazing.
I am so, so proud of all of our students. To see you grow, and your dogs progress. You are all amazing. We are very lucky to have you.
